Our group includes folks from Maynard, Stow, Sudbury and more. We meet regularly to stand up for democracy, build community, and support our neighbors. Special Upcoming Event: End ICE Flights Standout

Peaceful Rally July 31, 1:00-2:30 PM,
Hanscom Rotary in Lincoln, MA.

This is part of a National Week of Action to end deportation flights. These flights leave quickly to deny access to legal counsel and detainees are chained and shackled and often spend hours on the tarmac.

The Maynard Freedom Singers, Jonathan Paz and Laurie and Jared Berezin will be leading us in this rally to End ICE Flights. We will gather to sing and share our outrage at the cruelty of these flights. We hope to get attention to garner public anger and media coverage to End ICE Flights!

Surveillance Talk

If you missed the July 23rd talk at the Maynard Public Library on Mass Surveillance, you can access the slides to the right.

Our group is working on a Community Control Over Police Surveillance (CCOPS) by-law for Maynard and for surrounding towns.

Monthly Standout Against Authoritarianism

We meet the 3rd Saturday 1-3pm
Veterans Memorial Park

We meet the 3rd Saturday of every month from 1-3pm by Veterans Memorial Park at the corner of Summer St. and Nason St to stand up against authoritarianism. Signs welcome, but we usually do have some extra to offer. Let's stand together as a community to fight for our democracy and our rights. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

Sign Brigade

Our next scheduled Sign Brigade will be July 30, from 5-6 pm by 159 Great Rd. Stow
We meet at the parking lot for Shaws Plaza in Stow and stretch out along rt 117 W between Red Acre Rd and the entrance to Shaws Plaza.

If you haven’t seen a Sign Brigade before, we each hold a sign according to a theme that tells a story (ie- signs of good government). In order to allow cars to read each sign, we each stand 100 ft apart.

Feel free to join us or drive by and honk in solidarity.

We need a minimum of 6 sign ups for this to be effective, so RSVP is required.

Postcard Writing

Tuesdays 9-11am Boston Bean

Send hand-written postcards to voters in states that will play a key role in taking back Congress and in electing leaders who will fight back against the current authoritarian regime. Postcards educate voters, urge them to register to vote, and urge them to vote for specific candidates in special elections, primaries, and the November 2026 mid-term elections. Hand-written postcards have been proven in multiple studies to boost turnout enough to swing elections. Each packet of 15 postcards has everything you need, and costs $10 to cover stamps and cards for those who can afford it.

It’s more fun to write together, but if you can’t stay, you can also stop by and pick up postcards to write at home.

Join us every Friday at the Hanscom Traffic Circle in Lincoln, MA from
1-2:30 pm to bring attention to the deportation flights leaving from the air force base and the wrongful coordination with Massport.
