No Kings 3 Rally:

More than 10% of Maynard’s population gathered for the No Kings 3 Rally. We collected 160 pounds of food for Open Table and were inspired by the many Speakers and singers.

Citizens Bank Standouts

Citizens Bank funds GeoGroup and Core Civic, private prison companies that build and run ICE detention centers.  We have participated in Nationwide standouts at the Stow branch

Monthly Huddles and meetings

Our monthly meetings have included actions (like making whistle kits, writing letters and signing petitions and  trainings. Trainings included information on MA legislation, building resiliency in our resistance and helping our community.

May Day

We held a Standout on May Day in solidarity with workers, unions and to fight the billionaire class. We also collected several bags of food for Open Table.

Post card writing

We write postcards to voters in swing states every Tuesday at Boston Bean in Maynard.  It is a nice relaxed atmosphere where we can drink coffee, chat, and take action together.

Monthly Standout

We meet at Veterans Memorial Park the 3rd Saturday each month.  Thanks to Excelsior games who twice provided us with space to make signs. 
We also meet Fridays at the Hanscom Rotary to protest the deportation flights and many members attend Bearing Witness on Wednesdays outside the Burlington ICE field office.

We had an informal gathering on very short notice and still had hundreds show up, and offer words of comfort and hope
